To confirm spark plug failure, remove each spark plug and inspect the electrode. Look for heavy carbon fouling, oil deposits, or a burned-out ground electrode. Check the gap size using a feeler gauge to ensure it meets the manufacturer's specifications. A weak or inconsistent spark during high-load conditions indicates the plug can no longer sustain combustion.
