Replace the Motorcycle Fuel Filter

Safety Precautions: Work in a well-ventilated area, wear safety glasses, and keep away from open flames. Ensure the engine is cool.

Tools Needed: New fuel filter, screwdriver, pliers, and a fuel catch pan.

  1. Locate the fuel filter along the fuel line.
  2. Place the catch pan under the filter to catch residual fuel.
  3. Release the tension clamps on both sides of the filter.
  4. Carefully slide the old filter off the fuel lines.
  5. Install the new filter, ensuring the directional arrow on the body points toward the engine.
  6. Reattach the clamps securely.
  7. Start the engine and check for leaks at the connection points.
