Lack of lubrication is the primary cause of blade performance degradation. Confirm this by inspecting the blade interface for a dry, metallic appearance or by noting audible high-pitched friction noise during operation. If the blades feel hot to the touch after less than one minute of use or if the motor speed fluctuates significantly under light load, the absence of a friction-reducing oil film between the blades is identified as the root cause.
