Kawai CP119 Velocity Error Due to Contamination

This is the most frequent cause of intermittent full-volume output. It is confirmed by observing debris, dust, or hair buildup on the rubber contact strips or the underlying PCB sensor pads. Diagnosis is performed by visual inspection of the contact area; if foreign particles are present between the rubber actuator and the PCB, the sensor circuit cannot complete the timing interval, defaulting to a full-velocity signal.
