I2S Audio Failure Due to Incorrect Data Signal Mapping

Diagnose this by testing for continuity between the source output pins and the destination input pins using a multimeter. Verify that the Data, BCLK, and LRCLK lines from the transmitter align exactly with the corresponding input pins on the receiver. If the signal maps are inconsistent across the cable or port interface, the receiver will be unable to interpret the incoming digital audio stream.
