Tesla CP_a151 Charge Port Error Detected - Service Required

The CP_a151 alert indicates that the vehicle's charge port is unable to establish a valid control pilot signal or communicate effectively with certain AC charging equipment. When this fault is present, AC charging and DC Fast Charging with non-Tesla charging stations may be limited or unavailable. While Supercharging should generally remain available, it is recommended to schedule service to have the charge port inspected. Before scheduling, you may attempt to verify the issue by charging with a Gen 2 Mobile Connector or Gen 3 Wall Connector to confirm if the vehicle can communicate with known Tesla charging products.
