Electrical interruption is the most common cause of failure. Confirm this by using a multimeter to measure voltage at the pump's motor terminals. The reading should be within 5% of the battery's nominal voltage. A reading of 0V or a significant voltage drop indicates a fault in the power path, such as a blown fuse, tripped breaker, loose or corroded wiring connections, or a failed ground connection. This confirms the pump is not receiving the required power to operate.
