Hotpoint F05 Error Due to Blocked Pump Filter or Impeller

This is the most common cause for an F05 error. Confirm this by accessing the pump filter, typically located behind a flap at the bottom front of the machine. Once the filter is unscrewed and removed, check for physical debris such as coins, lint, or hair. Confirm the impeller—the small fan-like component inside the housing—is obstructed by manually rotating it; it should spin freely without resistance or blockage.
