To prevent heat creep and filament warping that leads to print instability, manage the P1S chamber temperature effectively.
Steps
- During the print, monitor the chamber temperature. If it exceeds 45°C for PLA, open the front glass door or remove the top glass lid.
- Ensure the auxiliary fan is set to a moderate speed in Bambu Studio to prevent overheating near the build plate.
- If printing in a high-ambient temperature room, use an external fan to blow air toward the printer's intake vents.
Verification
Ensure the model edges remain flat and do not curl upward during the middle stages of the print. If the model edges remain flush with the plate, the thermal management is successful.
