Bambu Lab Spaghetti Failure Due to Loss of Bed Adhesion

Spaghetti failure is fundamentally a symptom of a model detaching from the build plate during the printing process. When the bond between the first layer and the print surface is compromised, the model shifts or breaks free, causing the extruder to deposit filament into the air rather than onto the structure.

Loss of bed adhesion occurs when the physical connection between the filament and the plate is insufficient to withstand the mechanical forces of the print head movement. This is often caused by inadequate surface contact area for tall or thin models, incorrect first-layer speed settings that prevent proper bonding, or improper auto-bed leveling calibration which results in an inconsistent nozzle-to-bed gap. If the model's footprint is too small relative to its height, the leverage exerted by the print head can easily peel the object from the plate, leading to the characteristic tangled mess.
