Configure Brim and Support Structures

Increase the physical surface area and structural support of your print to prevent it from detaching or wobbling at specific heights.

Steps

1. In Bambu Studio, navigate to the 'Others' or 'Support' tab.
2. Enable 'Brim' and set the width to at least 5mm to provide a larger anchor point.
3. For tall or narrow objects, select 'Tree Support' in the support settings to provide lateral stability as the print increases in height.
4. Reduce the 'Outer Wall Speed' to 30 mm/s for the first 5 layers to ensure a strong, stable foundation.

Verification

Inspect the base of the model after printing. A properly configured brim should remain fully attached to the build plate throughout the entire printing duration.
