Perform Manual Auto-Calibration of the Rohloff E-14 Shifter

Follow these steps to recalibrate the gear end-positions and restore shifting functionality:

1. Ensure the eBike system is completely switched OFF.
2. Press and hold both the '+' and '-' buttons on the Rohloff E-14 handlebar switch unit.
3. While continuing to hold both buttons, switch the eBike system ON.
4. Maintain pressure on both buttons for approximately 8–10 seconds.
5. Observe the system as it begins the automated calibration process; you will hear the shifter motor engaging to cycle through the gears.
6. Wait for the process to conclude. For current system versions, the process will finish automatically, indicated by a success code (e.g., 1C7447) or three audible beeps.
7. Verify the repair by attempting to shift through the gears using the handlebar switch unit while the bike is powered on.

Safety Note: Never attempt to disconnect any system cables while the power is switched on, as this may cause permanent damage to the electronic components.
