Replace the Starter Motor Solenoid

Safety Precautions: Disconnect the negative battery terminal before starting. Wear safety glasses and gloves.

Tools Needed: Socket set, wrench, new starter solenoid, wire brush.

1. Locate and remove the starter motor from the engine block.
2. Unscrew the mounting bolts holding the solenoid to the starter housing.
3. Clean the contact points on the starter motor with a wire brush.
4. Install the new solenoid, ensuring all electrical connections are tightened securely.
5. Reinstall the starter motor and reconnect the battery.
6. Verify the fix by starting the vehicle and ensuring the engine cranks normally.
