Replace the Thermal Paste on the Heat Break

If heat transfer is compromised, the thermal interface between the heat break and the heat sink must be refreshed:

• Tools: High-quality thermal paste (rated for 3D printing temperatures), hex keys, and isopropyl alcohol.
• Steps: Disassemble the hotend assembly, clean the old thermal compound from the heat break threads and the heat sink bore using alcohol. Apply a thin, even layer of new thermal paste to the heat break and reassemble the unit securely.
• Verification: Perform a standard PLA test print; monitor the extruder temperature to ensure it remains stable without creeping upwards during long durations.
