Follow these steps to restore structural support to your synthetic grass:

1. Procure appropriate infill: Purchase the specific type and grade of infill (e.g., silica sand or rubber granules) originally specified by your turf manufacturer to ensure compatibility.
2. Prepare the surface: Use a leaf blower or vacuum to clear all organic debris from the matted area.
3. Apply new infill: Distribute the infill evenly across the affected area until the level reaches the manufacturer's recommended height, ensuring you do not exceed the top of the turf backing.
4. Lift the fibers: Operate a mechanical power broom over the area. The broom will lift the flattened fibers while simultaneously working the new infill deep into the turf base to provide permanent structural support.
5. Verify the fix: Inspect the area to ensure fibers remain in an upright position and the infill level is uniform and consistent with the surrounding, non-matted turf.
