Fill the Spa to the Recommended Water Level

Follow these steps to restore proper water flow and eliminate pump cavitation caused by low water levels.

  1. Turn off the spa at the GFCI breaker or disconnect power to ensure safety while adjusting water levels.
  2. Locate the skimmer or intake aperture on the side of the spa wall.
  3. Using a standard garden hose, add fresh water to the spa basin until the water line is at least 1 to 2 inches above the top of the skimmer intake aperture.
  4. Once the water level is sufficient, restore power to the spa.
  5. Observe the pump operation; the churning sound should cease immediately once the pump is fully primed and pulling water instead of air.

Safety Note: Ensure the power is disconnected before performing any maintenance near the pump or electrical components to prevent injury.
