Tools Needed: Nozzle cleaning needle, 99% IPA, hex keys, and a clean cloth.
- Heat the nozzle to 10-20°C above your standard printing temperature.
- Use a cleaning needle to clear the nozzle orifice from below to dislodge minor debris.
- If the clog persists, use a hex key to remove the hotend shroud, inspect the heatsink fan for dust, and ensure the cooling fan is operating at full speed to prevent heat creep.
- Perform a 'cold pull' by cooling the nozzle to roughly 90°C and manually pulling the filament out to remove internal residue.
- Verify the fix by performing a test extrusion of 50mm of filament; the flow should be consistent, straight, and free of stuttering.
