Confirm a cable connection break by performing a continuity test between the control unit output terminals and the magnet input junction box. With the system fully de-energized, use an ohmmeter to check each conductor. An 'Open Loop' or 'OL' reading on the multimeter indicates a complete break in the copper wiring, likely caused by fatigue or mechanical stress at the cable entry gland.
