Level the Refrigerator to Reduce Vibration Noise

If your refrigerator is not sitting level on the floor, it can cause significant vibration and rattling noises. Follow these steps to level the unit:

  1. Locate the adjustable leveling legs at the bottom front of the refrigerator.
  2. Use a wrench or pliers to rotate the legs; turning them clockwise will raise the unit, and counter-clockwise will lower it.
  3. Place a carpenter's level on top of the refrigerator to ensure it is balanced both front-to-back and side-to-side.
  4. Ensure all four corners are firmly touching the floor to prevent rocking.
  5. Check if the noise has subsided once the unit is stable.
