If your refrigerator is not sitting level on the floor, it can cause significant vibration and rattling noises. Follow these steps to level the unit:
- Locate the adjustable leveling legs at the bottom front of the refrigerator.
- Use a wrench or pliers to rotate the legs; turning them clockwise will raise the unit, and counter-clockwise will lower it.
- Place a carpenter's level on top of the refrigerator to ensure it is balanced both front-to-back and side-to-side.
- Ensure all four corners are firmly touching the floor to prevent rocking.
- Check if the noise has subsided once the unit is stable.
