If the stepper motor is vibrating but not rotating, the coil pairs may be incorrectly wired. Use a multimeter set to continuity mode to identify the two separate coils (pins with continuity are a pair). Ensure that one coil is connected to the driver's A1/A2 terminals and the other to the B1/B2 terminals. If the wires are swapped, rearrange them in the connector housing until the correct coil pairing is achieved.
Tools needed: Multimeter, precision screwdriver, connector pin extraction tool.
Verification: Power on the system and send a move command via Klipper; the motor should rotate smoothly without stalling or making grinding noises.
