Sometimes noise is caused by debris or friction in the fan motor bearings. To address this, first unplug the refrigerator. Remove the rear access panel and locate the condenser fan. Carefully vacuum any dust or debris from the blades and housing. If the motor shaft appears dry or stiff, apply a few drops of non-detergent electric motor oil to the bearing ports if accessible. Rotate the fan blades by hand to ensure they spin freely without resistance. Reinstall the panel, plug in the unit, and monitor for noise reduction.
