1. Unplug the refrigerator from the power source to ensure safety.
2. Remove the rear access panel to expose the compressor unit.
3. Inspect the rubber vibration isolators (grommets) located between the compressor feet and the mounting plate for signs of cracking, hardening, or deterioration.
4. If the grommets are worn, remove the mounting bolts and replace the damaged isolators with new, manufacturer-specified parts.
5. Reinstall the mounting bolts and tighten them to the manufacturer's recommended torque to ensure the compressor is securely seated and vibration is minimized.
6. Reattach the access panel and restore power to the refrigerator.
