Replace the Evaporator Fan Motor

If the fan is clear of debris but still makes a grinding or loud humming noise, the motor bearings have likely failed and the motor requires replacement.

Steps:

1. Unplug the refrigerator.

2. Remove the freezer panel to expose the fan assembly.

3. Disconnect the electrical harness and unscrew the mounting bolts.

4. Install the new compatible fan motor, reconnect the harness, and secure the mounting hardware.

5. Replace the panel and restore power to test for quiet operation.
